Central University of Odisha Recruitment 2026: Central University of Odisha (CUO) invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for an interview for Research Project Staffs (01 Research Associate, 01 Research Assistant and 02 Field Investigators) for ICSSR Research Project on 2nd Special Call for Multi-Disciplinary Studies on the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in India, 2025-26, purely on tenure (temporary) basis at Department of Education, Central University of Odisha.

- Research Associate: 01 No.
- Research Assistant: 01 No.
- Field Investigator: 02 Nos.
Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)
1. Research Associate (01 No.)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks, along with NET/ M.Phil. /Ph.D. and at least two years of research experience.
- Desirable Qualification: Proficiency in Microsoft office tools, knowledge of AI in Education.
2. Research Assistant (01 No.)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Preferences will be given to candidates with NET/ M.Phil. /Ph.D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools, knowledge of AI in Education.
3. Field Investigator (02 Nos.)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in any Social Science discipline with minimum of 55% marks.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Preferences will be given to candidates with four-year graduation programme.
- Proficiency (Reading/Writing /Speaking / Translation) in Odia and Desia Odia language.
- Must be willing to travel for field work, including rural/interior areas.
Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)
- Research Associate: Rs. 47,000/- per month (As per ICSSR guidelines) | Duration: 06 months
- Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000/- per month (As per ICSSR guidelines) | Duration: 06 months
- Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000/- per month (As per ICSSR guidelines) | Duration: 07 months
(Estimated figures are subject to change in case of exigencies. The final figures will be as per Letter of Appointment)

- The appointment is purely on a temporary basis and will be governed by the norms as stipulated by the Central University of Odisha for research project staff under ICSSR funded project.
- The appointment may be terminated at any time before the expiry of the stipulated period without notice and assigning any reason thereof if the work is deemed to be unsatisfactory or completion of the project.
- All the original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the position.
