OAV Mahimunda Support Staff Recruitment 2026: OAV Mahimunda invites applications from deserving candidates for different support staff for Boys’ Hostel at Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Mahimunda, Block- Puintala, Dist-Balangir as per the vacancy details given below in the table:

- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper (Male): 01 Post
- Head Cook (Male): 01 Post
- Assistant Cook (Male): 02 Posts

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification & Experience
- Warden (Male):
- Qualification: B.A./B.Sc. from any recognized University.
- Experience: At least 02 years in hostel management.
- He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper (Male):
- Qualification: He must have passed HSC Examination.
- Head Cook (Male):
- He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
- If somebody is trained in cookery, he will be given preference & due weightage.
- The cook must be well conversant to use LPG.
- Assistant Cook (Male):
- He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
- Having experience in cooking and other characteristics as specified above in Head Cook.
Age Limit
- Warden (Male): 30-60 Yrs as on the date of advertisement (Retired teachers, if willing and physically & mentally sound within the age limit of 62 years as on the date of engagement, may be engaged as Warden).
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper (Male): 21 to 32 Yrs as on the date of advertisement.
- Head Cook (Male): 30 to 40 Yrs as on the date of advertisement.
- Assistant Cook (Male): 21 to 32 Yrs as on the date of advertisement.
OAV Mahimunda Support Staff’s Salary Details
Monthly remuneration details for each post (including EPF share of Employee & Employer) are as follows:
- Warden (Male): Rs. 21,175/- per month (If any in-service teacher of OAV is willing to discharge the duties of a warden in addition to his duties, He may be paid monthly remuneration of Rs. 3000/- in addition to his own salary).
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper (Male): Rs. 7,500/- per month.
- Head Cook (Male): Rs. 9,000/- per month.
- Assistant Cook (Male): Rs. 6,750/- per month.
Selection Process for OAV Mahimunda Support Staff Recruitment
- Process of Engagement:
- (a) Preference shall be given to local candidates preferably from the block area. If candidates are not available in that locality, then block will be taken as a unit. If still candidates are not available, then the candidates from nearby blocks / adjacent blocks of the respective District may be selected for the purpose. No candidates outside of the district should be recruited against the post stated above.
- (b) Qualification for the different post may be taken from the above list.
- Duration of the engagement: On expiry of a year period of engagement, fresh engagement shall be made with a gap at least one working day basing on the satisfactory performance of the employee.
