OAV Sialia Khordha Hostel Support Staff Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
The OAV Sialia Khordha Hostel Support Staff Recruitment process aims to fill up multiple key roles to manage hostel operations efficiently.
1. Warden
- Qualification: B.A. or B.Sc. degree only from a recognized university. Only male candidates are eligible for the boy’s hostel.
- Age Limit: 30 to 60 years as on the date of the advertisement.
- Experience: At least 2 years of mandatory experience in hostel management.
- Remuneration: Rs. 21,175/- per month.
2. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper
- Qualification: Must have passed the HSC (Matriculation) examination (Male candidates only).
- Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on the date of the advertisement.
- Remuneration: Rs. 7,500/- per month.
3. Head Cook
- Qualification: Male candidates are eligible for the boy’s hostel. Preference will be given to candidates trained in cookery. Must be well-versed in using LPG and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Age Limit: 30 to 40 years as on the date of the advertisement.
- Remuneration: Rs. 9,000/- per month.
4. Assistant Cook
- Qualification: Male candidates are eligible for the boy’s hostel. Experience in cooking is preferred.
- Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on the date of the advertisement.
- Remuneration: Rs. 6,750/- per month.

Candidates applying for the OAV Sialia Khordha Hostel Support Staff Recruitment will undergo a structured selection process depending on their post:
- Warden: Selection is based on career-based assessment marks (60%), an interview (20%), and experience (20%).
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: Selection will be done entirely through a personal interview carrying 100 marks.
- Head Cook & Assistant Cook: Selection will be based strictly on a practical cooking test (100 marks) evaluated by a sub-committee.
