Educational Qualification: The applicant should have pursued Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees. Desirable Qualification: The applicant should have pursued PG degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology with three years post qualification Experience or PhD, will be given preference. Upper Age limit: The maximum age limit is 35. (For SC/ST candidates, relaxation lasts up to five years; for OBC applicants, it lasts up to three years.) Remuneration: The consolidated monthly remuneration will be Rs 67200/- Job Description: 1. Conduct microbiological experiments, including culture techniques, molecular diagnostics, and bioinformatics analysis. 2. Perform parasite isolation/ detection, identification, and characterization using standard and advanced microbiological techniques. 3. Handle and maintain microbial cultures, including BSL-2/BSL-3 organisms (if applicable). 4. Perform PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, and other molecular biology techniques as required. 5. Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare technical reports, research manuscripts, and presentations. 6. Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ethical guidelines. 7. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, biostatisticians, and bioinformaticians, for collaborative research projects. 8. Assist in the development of new research methodologies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 9. Ensure compliance with biosafety and biosecurity protocols. 10. Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI) related to the project. |

Laboratory work involving automated, molecular, and conventional testing 2. Keeping track of strains and other types of stock and their data. 3. Educational Qualification: The applicant should have pursued Matriculation/High School or equivalent qualification from a Recognized Board Desirable Qualification: The applicant should have One-year previous experience in research related to Medical Sciences as MTS. Upper Age limit: The maximum age limit is 25. (For SC/ST candidates, relaxation lasts up to five years; for OBC applicants, it lasts up to three years.) Remuneration: The consolidated monthly remuneration will be Rs 26800/- Job Description: 1. To help receive, store, and distribute research and office supplies. 2. To help with standard office tasks like organizing files, photocopying, scanning, and sending out paperwork. 3. To assist with organizing and preparing research materials for fieldwork, workshops, and meetings. 4. To continue to keep the workstation and research labs tidy and well-organized. 5. When necessary, deliver official documents to other departments or outside partners. 6. To help with field trips for surveys, sample collecting, and research material transportation. 7. To assist research personnel in managing and classifying study materials. 8. To perform any additional tasks as delegated by the project coordinator or principal investigator in accordance with project requirements. |
Tenue of Employment: The duration of employment is six months, renewable every eleven months, with a maximum extension of three years
Selection procedure: The selection committee will review the received applications. The institute’s website will feature the list of shortlisted applicants. Interviews will be used for recruitment, and if there are more than 15 selected candidates for each position, a written exam may be administered. Merit and interview criteria are the only criteria used for selection.
