Eligibility Criteria for UPGB FLC Recruitment

Educational Qualification & Skills required for UPGB FLC Recruitment

  • Basic Requirement: Candidates must hold a Graduate degree from any recognized university.
  • Preferred Qualification: Applicants with a Post Graduate degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work will be given preference.
  • Language & Tech Skills: Proficiency in the local language, a keen interest in teaching, and working knowledge of computer operations are essential.
  • Domain Knowledge: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pensions, finance, and legal matters, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Experience required for UPGB FLC Recruitment

  • Retired bankers with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in any Nationalized Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB). (Retired staff of UPGB will get priority) .
  • Individuals with at least 5 years of experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial institutions.
  • Individuals with a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Correspondent (BC) or BC-Coordinator.
  • Individuals with at least 3 years of experience as an RSETI Director, or 5 years of experience as an RSETI Faculty member.

UPGB FLC Recruitment- Age Limit & Residency

  • Age: The maximum age limit is 65 years or below at the time of appointment.
  • Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of the district where the vacancy is situated (or a neighboring district). Temporary residents must have stayed in the respective district for at least 3 years with valid documents.

Salary and Contract Tenure for UPGB FLC Recruitment

  • Contract Period: The selected candidates will be engaged on a contract basis for a period of one year.
  • Remuneration: A fixed monthly salary of ₹15,000/- will be provided.
  • Allowances: An additional maximum amount of ₹3,000/- per month is payable for miscellaneous expenses based on performance and bank criteria.

Selection Process for UPGB FLC Recruitment

The selection for the Financial Literacy Counselor post will be conducted solely through a walk-in or scheduled Interview. The bank holds ultimate authority to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage without prior notification.
