Young Professional Vacancy at ICAR-ICWA Bhubaneswar: ICAR – CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE, Bhubaneswar has released notification for the recruitment of Professional-II (YP-II) through Walk-in-interview.
Brief about ICAR – CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE: The first organization in India dedicated solely to gender-related agricultural research is the ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA). In order to make farm technologies appropriate for farm women, it focuses on participatory action research in many technology-based subject areas.
As gender dynamics in agriculture are about to undergo significant change, especially in light of shifting socioeconomic, institutional, policy, and environmental factors, the significance of such a specialized organization has increased over time. Planning and supporting gender-responsive initiatives to accomplish the dual goals of women’s empowerment and sustainable agricultural growth also requires a greater understanding of women’s involvement in agriculture. Given that many men and women find agriculture to be a less appealing economic career, it is crucial to figure out how to make workers especially women workers more productive in the sector as the number of women working in agriculture and related fields continues to rise.
