- Upper Age Limit: 50 years as of July 1, 2026, for all categories of fresh teachers.
- Retired Teachers: The maximum age limit for Ex-NVS or superannuated Government school teachers is 65 years.
NVS Chandigarh Recruitment- Qualifications for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs)
Candidates must have an Integrated Post Graduate Course or a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate in the concerned subject. Additionally, a B.Ed. degree is mandatory.

Mandatory Residential Requirements for NVS Chandigarh Recruitment
