General Guidelines for Vacancy at EMSR Bhawanipur Sundargarh:

In the event of a vacancy resulting from an EMRS upgrade or when a teacher takes a prolonged leave of absence, State/UT EMRS Societies are permitted to hire teachers as Guest Teachers (PGTS & TGTS).

Teachers hired as guest teachers will not be regarded as members of the EMRSS cadre and will not be eligible for regular appointments.

When hiring guest teachers, the following guidelines need to be followed:
a) The instructor must meet the requirements for teaching, such as PGTS TGTs, or have the necessary educational background.
b) The minimum and maximum ages are 21 and 60 years old, respectively.
c) Retired educators from reputable CBSE schools, the State Government, KVS, or NVS may also be hired as guest teachers. As long as they are medically capable of working in a residential setting, retired instructors may be as old as 65. They can continue to serve in their retired position.

d) The guest teacher will work for a full academic year, the duration of the vacant period (maternity leave, child care leave, or any other extended absence of more than 30 days), or until the regular teacher starts working, whichever comes first.
e) Under no circumstances may the positions of Principal, Vice-Principal, Librarian, or Office Staff be filled by guest teachers.

f) In order to renew their contract, a guest or retiring teacher must reapply and show up for an interview each academic year. To ensure that teachers are hired from the beginning of the academic year, the States and UTs should take steps to hire guest or retired teachers well in advance. Nonetheless, EMRS work experience will be given the weight it deserves during the interview.

Selection Process:

For the teaching and other positions open in the state, the State/UT EMRS Societies will evaluate candidates at the district level and choose a panel that will be in effect for just one academic year. Preferably, the common interview will take place prior to the start of the next academic session. The panel will only be used in the State’s EMRSs when there are openings, when an EMRS upgrade occurs, or when a teacher takes a lengthy leave of absence.
