- Recruitment Mode: Direct Recruitment, failing which on deputation or contract basis.
Eligibility Criteria
For Direct Recruitment
- Educational Qualification: A post-graduate degree in finance.
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in administrative or financial management in Government, autonomous bodies, reputed educational/research institutions, or PSUs.
- At least 5 years of regular service in Pay Level 12 or 8 years in Pay Level 11.
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years.
For Deputation/Short-Term Contract
- Educational Qualification: Same as Direct Recruitment.
- Experience: Officers from Central/State Govt, Universities, R&D institutions, or PSUs holding analogous posts or with 5 years of service in Pay Level 12.
- Age Limit: Maximum 56 years.

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 1,000.
- SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates: Exempted from payment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Member-Secretary of the Finance Committee.
- Exercise general supervision over the funds and provide advice on financial proprietary.
- Manage financial property, investments, and preparation of annual accounts and budgets.
- Ensure annual stock verification of assets is conducted across all departments and laboratories.
