Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates must fulfill one of the following:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor (Level 11+) OR 8 years of service in Academic Level 12+ (including Associate Professor) with experience in educational administration.
- OR Comparable experience in research establishments or higher education institutions.
- OR 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years as a Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree from a recognized university.
- Experience in conducting public examinations (Open University experience preferred).
- Degree/Diploma in Distance Education and experience in the Distance Education system.
- Working knowledge of computers.
