Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computer Science, IT, Aerospace Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Ceramics Engineering, or allied disciplines.
- OR M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Life Sciences, or Mathematics.
- Minimum Marks: 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD).
- Mandatory Requirement: A valid GATE or NET score is required.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidates).
Preferred Skills (Desirable)
- Exposure to computational science, materials thermodynamics, and simulation-based materials design.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated to pursue a PhD in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering.
Salary & Fellowship
- Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 + 30% HRA (Rs. 11,100) = Rs. 48,100 per month.
