Eligibility Criteria
TGT (Maths & Social Science)
- Education: Graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in both the subject and aggregate.
- Professional: B.Ed. in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
- TET/CTET: Must have passed Paper-2 of the Teacher Eligibility Test.
- Desirable: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, fluency in English and Hindi, and knowledge of computer applications.
PGT Computer Science
- Education: M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), MCA, M.E., or M.Tech. with at least 50% marks.
- Professional: B.Ed. degree, or a 3-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed., or a 4-year integrated degree including B.Ed. component (all with 50% marks).
- Desirable: Experience in residential or military-biased schools and achievements in NCC or sports.
Selection Process for Recruitment at Sainik School Imphal
The selection will be carried out purely on a merit basis through three stages:
- Written Test: 100 marks (1-hour duration) covering GK, English, Basic Maths, and Subject-specific questions.
- Classroom Demonstration: Testing teaching abilities in an actual classroom setting (100 marks).
