Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for all positions.
- Age Limit:
- General Posts: 25 to 45 years as of April 1, 2026.
- Warden (Pradhanacharya): Minimum 30 years and maximum 45 years.
- Maximum age for existing KGBV service is 60 years.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Teachers (Class 6-8): Graduate in relevant subject, B.Ed./equivalent, and must have passed Upper Primary TET.
- PGT (Class 9-12): Post Graduate (M.A./M.Sc.) in relevant subject and training degree.
- Non-Teaching Staff: Class 8 pass for cooks/peons; Intermediate with Computer skills for Clerk.
Selection Process for Recruitment at KGBV Sonbhadra UP
- Teachers: Selection is purely based on a merit-based quality score calculated from academic percentages (High School, Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and Training).
- Peon: Selection involves an interview (50 marks) covering physical health and general knowledge.
- Experience Bonus: Candidates previously employed in KGBVs during 2020-21 who lost their contracts may receive weightage of 2 marks per year (max 30 marks).
