Eligibility Criteria
1. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Age: Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. rules).
- Education: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
- Professional: B.Ed. degree from an NCTE recognized institution.
- Requirement: Must have studied the concerned subject at the Graduation level.
2. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
- Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in the subject with at least 50% marks.
- Mandatory: Must be CTET (Paper-II) Qualified.
- Specifics for TGT Science: Must have studied Biology/Botany/Zoology with Chemistry as a subsidiary.
- Specifics for TGT SST: Must have studied any two out of History, Geography, Economics, or Pol. Science, with History or Geography as a main subject for all three years.
3. Physical Education Teacher (PET)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or a 4-year integrated B.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- Note: Participation in National/State/Inter-University level competitions is preferred.
4. Counsellor
- Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology.
- Certification: One-year Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.
- Language: Must have studied the local language (Odia) up to Class VIII.
