Eligibility
- Age: Usually 65 years old; KVS employees do not have an upper age limit.
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) – Must have Degree (Master’s or equivalent) in relevant subject with 50% minimum and must also hold a B.Ed.
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) – Must have Degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) with 50% minimum in relevant subject AND B.Ed. degree along with CTET-II pass status to teach in government schools.
- PRT (Primary School Teacher) – Must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% in addition to having completed an approved course of study for working with children who require special assistance AND must have passed CTET-I.
- Languages: Most positions require applicants to possess the ability and skill to teach successfully with students who speak English and Hindi as their primary language.
