Recruitment at Puri/Chilika Wild Life Division 2026: The Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, Govt. of Odisha, in collaboration with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and MoEFCC, is seeking dedicated professionals to join the ECRICC Project. 1. Available Positions & Vacancies for Recruitment at Puri/Chilika Wild Life Division
The project is filling five contractual positions across the Puri Wild Life (WL) and Chilika Wild Life (WL) divisions.

2. Eligibility Criteria
- Plant Specialist — A Master’s Degree in Botany, Life Sciences, Environmental Science or Coastal Ecology. One (1) year experience in Marine Ecology or Coastal Habitat Restoration.
- Marine Biologist — A Master’s Degree or a Post Graduate Degree in Oceanography or Marine Sciences. One (1) year experience in Life or Marine Sciences after qualifying.
- Finance & Administrative Officer — Inter-C.A./I.C.W.A.* or a Master of Commerce. Three (3) years of experience in Finance, administration or accounting
- Age Limit — 23 to 45 years for Specialist; 25 to 50 for Finance and Administration.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Specialists: The seagrass specialist will conduct baseline studies for mapping and identifying seagrass meadow restoration sites as well as develop standard technical protocols for seagrass transplantation
- Finance & Admin: The finance and administration specialist will also manage project budgets, maintained a cashbook/Tally ledger, prepare all procurement documents, and work closely with banks and vendors.
4. Remuneration & Contract Details for Recruitment at Puri/Chilika Wild Life Division
- Salary: Rs. 50,000/month for Specialists; Rs. 40,000/month for Finance & Admin. Officer.
- Duration: Initially you will be engaged for one year, but may be extended based on results of performance and project conditions.
- Nature: Temporary and Contract Only – All positions are associated to the length of the project.
