Eligibility Criteria & Remuneration
The upper age limit for most teaching positions is 65 years.
1. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs)
- Salary: ₹32,500/- consolidated.
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
- PGT Computer Science: M.Sc. (CS/IT), MCA, or M.E./M.Tech (CS/IT) with 50% marks and a B.Ed..
2. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs)
- Salary: ₹31,250/- consolidated.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination and B.Ed.. Passing CTET Paper-II is mandatory.
3. Primary Teachers (PRTs)
- Salary: ₹26,250/- consolidated.
- Qualification: Class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-year B.El.Ed.. Passing CTET is mandatory.
4. Other Miscellaneous Posts
- Computer Instructor: ₹26,250/- (Classes III-V) or ₹31,250/- (Classes VI onwards).
- Doctor: ₹1,000/- per day (2 hours/day).
- Nurse: ₹750/- per day.
- Counselor: ₹25,000/-.
